About YSE
A Tournament Born From Passion
The YSE Champions Cup was founded in 2021 with one simple ambition: to create an International Youth Football Tournament that gave young players the kind of stage, atmosphere and experience normally associated with the professional game.
Youth Football Tournament Europe
From grassroots idea to international stage
What began during lockdown as a UK-based youth football event with more than 120 grassroots teams has grown into one of the most exciting Youth Football Tournaments in the UK. Since welcoming European teams in 2022, YSE has expanded its reach and built a strong reputation as a serious stage for talented young players, attracting grassroots clubs, academy sides and international visitors.
The idea was simple: give grassroots players the chance to share the same stage as elite academy teams. Today, YSE continues to grow into a major Youth Football Tournament in Europe, where talented young footballers come to compete, develop and be seen.
Our ambition is bold: to build one of the biggest and most respected events in the youth football calendar, where players dream bigger, coaches bring their strongest teams, families create memories and Europe’s brightest young players come to compete.
More than 120 UK grassroots teams begin the YSE story.
European teams arrive and the tournament grows beyond 150 teams.
A fast-growing international stage for grassroots and academy football.
